Upgrading Your Plan & Checkout

Ready to move up to a plan with more capability? The Upgrade Plan page walks you through the whole checkout in one screen: compare plans, switch to annual billing to save, drop in a coupon code, and pay by card or UPI. This guide covers every step so there are no surprises at payment.

To open it, go to your Billing & Subscription page and choose Upgrade Plan (or Change Plan). The page is headed Upgrade Plan with the subtitle “Upgrade your current subscription plan.”

Amounts, the currency symbol, and available plans all come from your organization’s subscription — so what you see is specific to your account.

What’s on the Page

At the top you’ll see your Current Plan card (its status, cost, and expiry) and, if you already have a change lined up, an Upcoming Plan card marked Scheduled. Below that are the plans you can move to, plus a Billing Summary panel on the right where the whole checkout happens.

The plans offered here are Professional and Enterprise. Every plan includes 5 users at no extra cost.

Step 1 — Choose Monthly or Annual

Use the Monthly / Annual toggle at the top right. When an annual discount is available, the Annual button shows a ”% OFF” tag so you can see the saving at a glance. Prices on every plan card update instantly when you switch.

Switching between Monthly and Annual clears any coupon you’ve already applied — re-enter it after you pick your cycle.

Step 2 — Select a Plan

Click the plan you want (Professional or Enterprise). The plan card highlights as selected and the Billing Summary on the right fills in with your Selected Plan, billing cycle, and Team Size.

Your plan includes 5 users. If you need more, the Team Size section has a Contact Sales button that opens WhatsApp so our team can set you up — additional seats aren’t purchased on this page.

Step 3 — Apply a Coupon (Optional)

In the Have a Coupon Code? box, type your code and click Apply. Codes are entered in uppercase.

  • If the code is valid, it’s replaced by a green badge showing the code and “You saved …”, and the discount appears in the Price Breakdown as a “Discount (%)” line. Click Remove to take it off.
  • If the code isn’t valid, an error message appears under the box explaining why.

The Price Breakdown always shows the Plan Price, any Discount, and the Total Amount.

A 100% coupon makes the plan free. When the total drops to zero, a green FREE tag appears next to the Total Amount, the payment options disappear, and the button changes to Activate Plan (Free) — no card or UPI details needed.

The coupon also resets if you change the selected plan or the billing cycle, so apply it last.

Step 4 — Choose a Payment Method

When there’s an amount to pay, a Payment Method section appears. Pick one:

Stripe (Cards, Wallets)Redirects you to Stripe’s hosted Checkout page to pay by card or wallet, then brings you back.

Then click Continue to Payment.

Step 5 — Confirm Timing, Then Pay

Clicking Continue to Payment opens the Confirm Your Upgrade window. It shows the plan you’re moving to and the price per cycle, then asks when the upgrade should take effect:

  • Schedule for Next Billing Cycle — your new plan starts when your current plan ends. Payment is still processed now to lock in the scheduled upgrade. Once confirmed, the new plan appears as your Upcoming (Scheduled) plan.

If your current plan has already expired, there’s nothing to schedule around — the upgrade applies immediately and you go straight to payment after confirming.

Click Continue to Payment in this window to launch checkout:

  • Razorpay opens its payment popup. Complete the payment there and it verifies automatically.
  • Stripe redirects you to the Stripe Checkout page. Pay there and you’re returned to Rentablez.

While payment is finishing you’ll see a “Payment is processing…” overlay.

Don’t close, refresh, or press back while that overlay is showing. Interrupting it can leave the payment in an unconfirmed state.

After Payment

On success you’ll get an on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email with your invoice (this can take a few seconds to arrive). Your subscription — active now for an immediate upgrade, or scheduled for a next-cycle upgrade — updates on your Billing & Subscription page.

If a payment fails or you close the popup before finishing, nothing is charged and your current plan is unchanged. Just start again from Step 2. If money left your account but the plan didn’t update, contact support with your payment reference.
