Predictive Analysis & Forecasts

Predictive Analysis is a forecast dashboard that looks ahead at your rental business instead of back at it. Rather than reading through past reports, you get a single screen that projects where key numbers are heading — revenue, how hard your inventory is working, new customers, and typical rental length — alongside anomalies worth acting on.

Preview feature. Predictive Analysis is an early-access dashboard. Right now it displays sample figures to illustrate the layout, not live numbers pulled from your own account. Use it to understand what the forecasts will look like — don’t base decisions on the values shown yet. Live data is coming in a future update.

Who Can Open It

Predictive Analysis is limited to super-admin users (the admin.all permission). If you don’t see it, your role doesn’t include full administrative access — ask an account owner to open it for you or to adjust your role.

Opening the Dashboard

Navigate to Predictive Analysis from the app. The page opens on a short About Predictive Mode panel explaining that it forecasts future trends from historical data and current patterns, followed by the forecast sections below.

Choosing a Forecast Timeframe

At the top of the forecasts is a Forecast Timeframe selector. Pick the window you want the projections to cover:

OptionCovers
Next WeekThe coming 7 days
Next 30 DaysThe coming month (default)
Next QuarterThe coming three months

The dashboard opens on Next 30 Days.

Reading the Key Predictions

The Key Predictions section shows four cards, each with a headline number, a trend indicator (up, down, or flat versus the prior period), and a short plain-language insight explaining the projection.

CardWhat it projects
Revenue ForecastExpected income over the selected timeframe
Inventory UtilizationHow much of your fleet is expected to be on rent
Customer AcquisitionProjected number of new customers
Rental DurationAverage length of a rental

Each card carries a View Details link for drilling into that projection.

A green upward trend is a projected increase, a red downward trend is a projected decrease, and a flat value means the number is expected to hold steady.

Detected Anomalies & Opportunities

Below the cards, the Detected Anomalies & Opportunities section calls out patterns that stand out from the norm — for example, an unexpected dip in weekend demand, or equipment likely to need maintenance soon. Each anomaly comes with a short description of what was spotted and a Recommendation suggesting how to respond.

Treat these as prompts to investigate, not automatic actions — nothing changes in your account from this screen.

Detailed Forecast Report

The Detailed Forecast Report section presents a 30-Day Business Outlook — a combined view of projected revenue, inventory utilization, and customer activity, with an interactive revenue forecast chart. From here you can Download the report or open the View Full Report view for the complete breakdown.

Because this is a preview, the report and chart currently show illustrative sample content.
