Signing Up & Signing In
Before you can manage a single rental, you need a Rentablez workspace and a way to get into it. This guide walks you through creating your account in two short steps, signing in day to day, switching between workspaces, and recovering access if you forget your password.
New accounts go live instantly. There is no email-verification step — once you create your account you land straight on your dashboard, where a short setup wizard helps you finish configuring your workspace. See Completing Your Setup.
Creating Your Account
Sign-up is a two-step wizard: first you claim your workspace, then you create your account.
Step 1 — Claim your workspace
- Go to the Sign-up page.
- Enter your Company Name.
- Confirm Your Workspace URL. Rentablez suggests one automatically from your company name, but you can edit it. This becomes your private web address —
yourcompany.rentablez.com— and it must be unique.- As you type, the app checks availability live and shows Available! or Already taken below the field.
- The URL is limited to 30 characters and only lowercase letters and hyphens (spaces and symbols are removed for you).
- When the URL shows as available, click Continue.
Choose your workspace URL thoughtfully — it is how you and your team reach your account, and it appears when you switch between workspaces. For more on what the URL is and how to move between multiple workspaces, see Your Workspace URL & Switching Workspaces.
Step 2 — Create your account
- Enter your Full Name.
- Enter your Email — this is the address you’ll sign in with.
- Choose your Country. Rentablez tries to detect it from your location, but you can search and change it. Your country sets your default currency and date format.
- If you select India, a State field appears — pick your state (this is used for tax handling).
- Optionally add a Phone number.
- Create a Password. A strength meter and checklist guide you toward a strong one. For the exact requirements, see Passwords, OTP & Account Security.
- Click Create Account.
You’ll be signed in immediately and taken to your dashboard to finish setup. If you need to step back and adjust your workspace, use the Back button on this step.
Already have an account? Use the Sign In link at the bottom of the sign-up page instead of creating a duplicate.
Signing up with Google
In some environments you’ll see a Continue with Google button on the login screen. Choosing it and picking a Google account that isn’t registered yet sends you into the same sign-up wizard, with your name and email pre-filled and the password step skipped.
The Google option is not available in every environment. If you don’t see it, simply create your account with an email and password as above — both routes create the same kind of account.
Signing In
Once your account exists, you can sign in from any device.
- Go to the Login page.
- Enter your registered Email and Password. Use the eye icon inside the password field to show or hide what you’ve typed.
- Click Log in.
If your credentials are correct, you go straight to your dashboard.
Signing in with Google
If your workspace environment shows the Continue with Google button, click it and choose your Google account. When that email is already registered, you’re signed in without typing a password.
Choosing a Workspace at Sign-In
If your email belongs to more than one Rentablez workspace, signing in shows a Select Workspace screen after you enter your password. Each workspace appears as a card with its name and its workspace.rentablez.com address — click the one you want to enter.
The workspace picker is time-sensitive for security. If you leave it open too long you may see a “session expired” message — just sign in again to get a fresh list. Full details are in Your Workspace URL & Switching Workspaces.
If You’re Asked to Change Your Password
On some sign-ins — for example the first time you log into an account an administrator created for you — Rentablez requires you to set a new password before continuing. You’ll be taken to a change-password screen automatically; set a new password that meets the requirements, then sign in again with it.
Recovering Access
Forgot your password?
- On the login screen, click Forgot Password?.
- Enter your email and click Send Reset Link.
- Check your inbox for the reset email and follow the link to choose a new password.
For your security, the message you see is deliberately generic — a reset link is only sent if an account exists for that email.
You can only request a reset so often. If you already have an active reset request, you’ll see a notice asking you to wait before requesting another. Requesting too many in a short time shows a “wait 15 minutes” message. The full reset and one-time-code (OTP) flow is covered in Passwords, OTP & Account Security.
Account temporarily locked?
After several failed sign-in attempts, an account is locked for a short cool-down period. The screen tells you roughly how many minutes to wait — for example “Account locked. Try again in 15 minutes.” Wait for the time shown, then sign in again. If you can’t remember your password, use Forgot Password? in the meantime.
You may also see “Too many login attempts. Please wait a minute and try again.” if you submit the form very rapidly — pause briefly and retry.
What Happens Next
Right after your first successful sign-in, Rentablez walks you through a short, required setup wizard before you can use the rest of the app. Head to Completing Your Setup to see what it asks and how to add sample data to explore with.
