Billing History & Paying Invoices

Every time your Rentablez subscription renews, changes plan, or adds seats, an invoice is created for it. The Billing History section on your Billing & Subscription page keeps all of those invoices in one place — so you can check what you were charged, download a copy for your records, and clear anything that’s still due without leaving the app.

Where to Find Billing History

Open Billing & Subscription (the /subscription-details page) and scroll to the Billing History card. It lists your subscription invoices, newest first, with the note “Subscription invoices and payment status” under the heading.

Free plans don’t generate paid invoices, so the Billing History card will be empty until you’re on a paid Professional or Enterprise plan.

Reading the Invoice Table

Each row is one invoice. The columns are:

ColumnWhat it shows
InvoiceThe invoice number (clickable). Below it: the plan, billing cycle, and any extra seats — for example “Professional · Annual · +2 seats”.
PeriodThe service period the invoice covers (start – end date), or a “Due” date when no period applies.
DueThe invoice due date. Overdue dates are shown in red.
AmountThe total amount for the invoice, in your subscription’s currency.
StatusThe current payment status (see below).
ActionA Pay Now or Pay Overdue button for anything unpaid; a dash (—) for settled invoices.

The table is paginated (five invoices per page) and you can sort by the Invoice, Due, and Amount columns.

Invoice Statuses

The colored pill in the Status column tells you where each invoice stands:

StatusMeaning
PaidThe invoice has been settled. No action needed.
PendingAwaiting payment, and not yet past its due date.
OverdueStill unpaid and past its due date — pay this to avoid losing access.
FailedA payment attempt didn’t go through. Try paying again.
CancelledThe invoice was voided (for example, a cancelled subscription) and doesn’t need payment.

Amounts are shown in the currency tied to your subscription. For India-based accounts, invoices include GST at 18%.

Previewing & Downloading an Invoice

To see the full invoice or save a copy:

  1. In the Billing History table, click the invoice number in the Invoice column.
  2. A preview of the invoice opens on screen.
  3. Click Download in the preview’s top-right corner to open your browser’s print dialog, where you can save it as a PDF or print it.
  4. Click the × (or click outside the preview) to close it.

Paying a Pending or Overdue Invoice

If an invoice still needs paying, you can settle it directly from the table.

Step 1 — Open the payment window

Find the unpaid invoice and click Pay Now (for a pending invoice) or Pay Overdue (for one past its due date) in the Action column. The Pay Invoice window opens.

Step 2 — Check the amount and pick a method

The window shows the Amount due, Invoice no., and Due date at the top. Under Payment method, choose one:

  • Razorpay — UPI, Cards, Net Banking
  • Stripe — Cards, Wallets

Step 3 — Complete the payment

Click the Pay button (it shows the exact amount, e.g. “Pay ₹1,180.00”):

  • Razorpay opens a secure popup right on the page. Finish the payment there.
  • Stripe redirects you to the Stripe Checkout page. After paying, you’re returned to Rentablez.

While the payment is processing you’ll see a “Processing payment…” overlay. Don’t go back or refresh the page until it finishes.

Step 4 — Confirmation

Once the payment succeeds, the window closes and the Billing History table refreshes — the invoice’s status flips to Paid and its action turns to a dash. A payment confirmation email with the invoice attached is sent automatically.

If money left your account but the status didn’t update, don’t pay again — contact support and reference the invoice number.

Restoring Access After Expiry

If your subscription has lapsed and you have unpaid invoices, Billing History shows a red reminder: “You have pending invoices. Please pay them to restore access.” Clear the outstanding invoice with Pay Now / Pay Overdue as above to restore full access.
