How to Connect TrackNerd Vehicle Tracking?
Rent out vehicles, equipment on wheels, or any GPS-tracked fleet? Connecting TrackNerd brings real-time location, fleet status, and trip history straight into Rentablez—so you can see where your assets are without switching to a separate tracking portal.
Why Connect TrackNerd?
TrackNerd is an IoT vehicle-tracking platform. Once linked, Rentablez reads live data from your TrackNerd account so you can:
- See live location — view real-time vehicle position and movement status from within Rentablez.
- Monitor fleet status — check whether tracked vehicles are online, idle, or stopped across your whole fleet.
- Review trip reports — access trip history and summaries linked to your active rental orders.
You need an existing TrackNerd account with your vehicles already set up on their platform. Rentablez connects to that account—it does not create or configure trackers for you.
Before You Start
- You must have the Settings Write permission. Without it, the Connect and Disconnect buttons stay disabled.
- Have your TrackNerd username and password ready. These are the same credentials you use to log in to TrackNerd.
Step 1 — Open the Integrations Page
Go to Settings → Integrations. This opens the Third-party Apps tab, which lists all of your available connectors—Zoho Books, TrackNerd, and Razorpay—on a single page.
Find the TrackNerd row. When it is not yet linked, it shows a Not connected badge and a Connect button.
Step 2 — Enter Your Credentials
Click Connect. A short form appears titled Enter your TrackNerd credentials with two fields:

Fill both fields and click Connect again. To back out without saving, click Cancel.
If the credentials are wrong or TrackNerd can’t be reached, a red error banner appears at the top of the page with the reason. Double-check your username and password and try again.
Step 3 — Confirm the Connection
On success, you’ll see a TrackNerd connected successfully confirmation. The TrackNerd row now shows:
- A green Connected badge.
- Your Organisation name.
- The linked User account.
Your credentials are stored securely so Rentablez can keep reading your fleet data—you don’t need to sign in again each time.
Disconnecting TrackNerd
To stop Rentablez from reading your TrackNerd data:
- In the TrackNerd row, click Disconnect.
- A prompt asks Remove stored credentials? Click Yes, disconnect to confirm, or Cancel to keep the connection.
Once disconnected, Rentablez removes your stored TrackNerd credentials and stops pulling fleet data. You can reconnect at any time by entering your credentials again.
Disconnecting only unlinks TrackNerd from Rentablez. Your vehicles, trackers, and history stay untouched in your TrackNerd account.
