Installation

Rentablez is a cloud-based web application, so there is nothing to download or install. You sign up in your browser, pick a workspace address that is yours alone, and you are working within minutes — from any device with an internet connection.

Creating an account takes just a few minutes. There is no email-verification step — once you finish signing up, you land straight on your dashboard and complete a short setup wizard.

System Requirements

Rentablez works on all modern devices. For the best experience, we recommend:

  • Supported browsers: The latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
  • Devices: Desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Internet connection: A stable broadband or mobile data connection, since Rentablez runs in the cloud.

You do not need to download any .exe or .dmg files. Everything runs in your web browser.

Create Your Account

Signup happens in two short steps: first you claim your workspace, then you create your account.

Step 1 — Choose your workspace

  1. Go to the Rentablez signup page.
  2. Enter your Company Name.
  3. Rentablez suggests a Workspace URL from your company name — for example mycompany.rentablez.com. You can edit it. It must be unique (up to 30 characters), and Rentablez checks availability as you type, showing Available! or Already taken.
  4. Click Continue.

Your workspace URL is your permanent address for signing in and for your online store. Pick something short and recognisable — you cannot rename it as easily later.

Step 2 — Create your account

  1. Enter your Full Name.
  2. Enter your Email.
  3. Choose your Country. Rentablez detects it from your location and pre-selects it, but you can search for another. If you select India, a State field appears — pick your state.
  4. Optionally add your Phone number.
  5. Create a Password.
  6. Click Create Account.

That’s it — you are signed in immediately and taken to your dashboard, where the setup wizard begins (see Finish the Setup Wizard below).

Signing up with Google? In some environments a Continue with Google button appears on the login screen. Choosing it pre-fills your name and email on the signup form and skips the password step. This option is not available on every Rentablez site, so if you don’t see it, just use email and password.

First Login

Returning to Rentablez is simple:

  1. Go to the Rentablez login page.
  2. Enter your Email and Password. Use the eye icon to show or hide your password.
  3. Click Log in.
  4. You are taken straight to your Dashboard.

Belong to more than one workspace? After you log in, Rentablez shows a Select Workspace screen listing each workspace by name and URL. Pick the one you want to open. This appears only if your email is part of multiple Rentablez organisations.

Finish the Setup Wizard

The first time you reach your dashboard, a Complete Your Setup wizard opens automatically. You must finish it before you can use the app — it cannot be closed or skipped.

The wizard walks you through a few short steps:

  • Business details — confirm your company information and address. The address field suggests matches as you type, so you can pick your location in one click.
  • Terminology — choose the words Rentablez uses for key items so the app matches how your business talks (for example, what you call an “order”).
  • Get started — on the final step, choose how to begin:
    • Add Sample Data — Rentablez fills your workspace with example assets, orders, and customers so you can explore every feature right away. This takes roughly 10–50 seconds.
    • Start Fresh — begin with an empty workspace and add your own data.

Click Get Started to finish. You can change these settings later in Settings.

The exact steps and fields in the wizard can vary — Rentablez tailors them to your account. Just follow the prompts on screen.

Mobile Access

Rentablez is fully responsive, so it adapts to your phone or tablet screen.

  • Mobile browser: Open Chrome or Safari on your phone and go to your workspace URL to log in.
  • Add to home screen: For quick access, add Rentablez to your phone’s home screen so it opens like an app.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If you run into trouble during setup, try these quick fixes:

  • Workspace URL says “Already taken”? Someone is already using that address. Try a variation until you see Available!.
  • Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password? on the login page to receive a reset link by email. If you request several in a row, Rentablez asks you to wait a few minutes before trying again.
  • “Account locked” message? After several failed login attempts, Rentablez temporarily locks the account and tells you how many minutes to wait. Try again once the time has passed.
  • Browser not supported? If pages look wrong, make sure your browser is up to date — we recommend the latest Chrome.
  • Can’t sign in? Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then refresh and try again.
